FACULTY OF UR ACADEMY

Dr. G.K. Bhat Taught Biology for the last 46 years for +2 students, Under graduate and Post graduate students and guided PhD and MPhil students. Received Best teacher State Award from Karnataka State Government in the year 2001-02 & Also Published 30+ Research papers in reputed national and international journals.

• Dr. G.K. Bhat Visited Natural History Museum London and Catholique Univerisy, France in connection with collaborative research work. Discovered five new species of amphibians namely, Gegeneophis madhavai, Gegeneophis goansis, Gegeneophis mhadeiensis, Nyctibatrachus dattatreyaensis and Ichthyophis davidi.
• Dr. G.K. Bhat Reviewed a number of scientific research papers for Current Science, Journal of Bioscience, Zoo Outreach; Project proposals and Project Completion Reports for The Department of Science and Technology, and a book on ecology for Tata McGraw-Hill Publishing Company Limited.
• Dr. G.K. Bhat Co-authored FIVE Biology Text Books for I and II PUC and Medical Entrance Examinations.
